IMPORTANT NOTE: Most residents of Sundara are aware of all of the planets and their locations, due to the fact that they are all visible in sundara’s sky. That being said, much of the rest of this section is not known by the average person.
Above a chart of Sundara’s solar system can be seen (It is not drawn to scale by any stretch of the word). Sundara (Shown above in green) is a part of a solar system which consists of four planets, one of which is an extremely large moon (shown above in light orange). Light from the Sun (seen above in darker orange) does not shine directly on Sundara at any place due to the smaller planet (shown in red) which constantly eclipses it. The fourth and final planet (shown in purple) is visible and constantly present above the sandfell. The moon which rotates around it is extremely reflective and is more or less the only source of light and heat for Sundara. Most Sundarians believe that this moon is indeed the Sun and call it by such.
This arrangement of planets causes a unique climate for Sundara, as the temperature constantly increases when travelling North, and decreases when travelling South.
